Dandadan is over, and I’m already hype for a third season. And the ending of Dandadan Season 2 also ended with a bang, revealing a new hottie for all of us to get excited about when starting season 3.

But me being an anime only, I didn’t see anything wrong with this character reveal. I thought it was done great, and her design was on point. But, for manga readers, they were disappointed with her reveal, or atleast, some of them were. While others praised the new direction that the studio decided to go, others found it insulting.

I do think it's stupid and it rubs me the wrong way when some consider this a "fix" from the OG design. Like, it's not that serious, and the OG design wasn't bad in the first place. For me, I can take it or leave it. I’m not here to praise the change, or hate the change. Do I understand why they made the change? No. Does the change make me like the character more? No. Does the change make me hate the studio? No. All they really did was add leggings to her design, and depend on who you ask. Leggings can look even hotter.

Alot of people like the one on the right more if you can believe that.

A change that might upset some, but a change that I don’t think affects the overall story. Now any manga heads out there can tell me if changing her costume affects some big plot point in the story, but otherwise, it seems like a harmless change that’s not going to affect my enjoyment of season 3 when it eventually drops.
