Cyberpunk 2077 Lets You Customize Your Crotch
By Yung Namahage • 3 years ago

A common theme in the genre of cyberpunk is transhumanism - the idea that the human form we've been cursed with for millennia has become obsolete and, like any hardware, needs to be updated and made more suitable for our ever-evolving world. This can be achieved by artificially increased lifespans, uploading consciousnesses into the digital realm or modding new features onto bodies to do things previously thought unimaginable. CD Projekt Red's upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 goes down the third route, especially in the trouser department.

The game's ESRB rating has been released, and alongside the expected warnings for graphic violence, strong language, drug use and scenes of a sexual nature comes this gem:

"The game contains nudity and sexual material: Players can select a gender and customize their character; customization can include depictions of breasts, buttocks, and genitalia, as well as various sizes and combinations of genitals."

We already know that the game's character creator won't feature preset body types based on the two genders as NPC dialogue mentioning the protagonist named V is gender neutral, similar to the Saint's Row series. Instead, the player chooses between different voices and body types on the masculine/feminine spectrum. The genitalia was previously thought to be tied to the chosen body type, but now it looks like it'll offer more of a tailor-made experience.

So can you play as a thicc hacker waifu with a prehensile futa dick? A buff bounty hunter with an augmented mechacoochie? Or both at the same time, in the same body? We can't tell just yet, but the ESRB rating does tell us a bit more about the sex scenes on offer:

"Players can encounter events where they have the option to engage in sexual activities with other main characters or prostitutes—these brief sex scenes (from a first-person perspective) depict partially nude characters moaning suggestively while moving through various positions. Some scenes contain brief depictions of thrusting motions; other scenes depict a character's head moving towards a partner's crotch."

I'm looking forward to trying out this character creator on 17 September, but what about you guys? Are you hyped for Cyberpunk 2077? How would you mod your cyberjunk? Drop your thoughts below!
