Chinese Dev Gives Out Free Eroge to Fight Coronavirus
By Yung Namahage • 4 years ago

Last time I wrote an article about the coronavirus here I didn't think I'd be writing another so soon. Just goes to show you never know just what to expect. After all, did the people of Wuhan expect they'd be the center of a worldwide epidemic a couple months ago? Around 24,000 cases have been reported in China so far, and the government has been encouraging people to stay indoors and avoid crowded places in order to curb the spread of the disease. Most people generally don't want to spend all their hours at home, but now they might have a reason to not go out.

Chinese developer Kagami Works announced on the Steam page of their 2018 game Mirror that they're giving away 200,000 copies of the game, a lewd match-3 with VN elements, to keep people safe at home. The game involves a magic mirror that brings you into contact with a load of girls you can fight and/or fuck, from a dark elf to a pharoah and a very cute jiangshi waifu.

The giveaway is only open to people with a valid Chinese mainland phone number, so if that applies to you then click here to claim your copy. If not, the game is currently on sale and may be worth checking out anyway. I know I will based on the jiangshi alone. For real, they're like a Chinese vampire zombie that moves by hopping around. A truly underrated type of monster girl in my eyes.

What do you think of this giveaway? If you're in China, will you be signing up for a free copy? Also if you're in China, how have you been coping with the coronavirus? As long as it doesn't damage your social credit score, let us know in the comments!
