Even if you don’t take a shower, you might not be able to avoid this fear. When I was younger, I took bath most of my life, cause we didn’t have shower curtains, so I took bath to avoid getting water on the floor. But once I learned more about scary movies, I had no issue not having shower curtains. But once I got older, and I liked the idea of standing and handling things under a shower, the fear started slowly creeping up, like a kitchen knife. Once the shampoo reached my head, and ran down my face, the horror started.

Horror movies made me dread closing my eyes during showers, cause I never knew that if I opened them, I’d spot someone with a knife right in front of me. Like obviously there's not going to be anyone there, and if there was, they wouldn’t wait for your eyes to open before they kill you. But it still for some reason scares me.

This is an issue I grew out of, but it’s an issue I still struggle with from time to time. Sometimes I try my best to keep one eye open just to make sure nothing is trying to sneak up on me. A goofy little problem to have, but it’s always good to keep your guard up.
Do you have this fear? Do you take showers or bath? Do you try to keep one eye open when you shower? Tell us in the comments.
