Some people will use AI and ask people, “What’s the problem? Why do you hate AI so much?” And for all the people in the back, I’ll say it again for the hundredth of time, I DON’T COMPLETELY HATE AI!!! Obviously it can be used for good, and hell, we’ve had it in things for years now. AI is used in games, and it’s used with our phones. I love how my phone just listens to me humming and figures out what song I’m humming and helps me find it. I love when AI is used like that. And if AI can help make the medical research process faster, then that’s a total plus in my book. But when AI is just a cheap imitation of humans, that’s when I have an issue.

This is an example of when I’m not so nice to AI. And you might be saying to yourself, “But Kinky, people liked it, so why is it wrong for it to get a prize? It shouldn’t have its manga adaptation taken away from it just because it’s AI.” And today I say, what if I spit in your food? Would you still want to pay me for it? But don’t worry, before I told you I spit in your food, you liked it. So what does it matter that I spit in it if you liked it right? It’s the illusion that people are getting tired of. If you want to make an AI product, be upfront about it. If AI is so good, then why are you afraid to say with your chest “I MADE A AI LIGHT NOVEL!!!” It’s because you know people wouldn’t want to consume some trash that you didn’t actually create. Letting some computer spit out some crap into a story, the same way I spit in your food. Maximilian said it best.

And then you have AI disrespecting artists' work.

I feel like this should be simple to understand. No one would want there hard work to be fucked with by someone else, def not some AI bullshit. If I made a coconut cake, and wouldn’t want some random fuck to come around and slap some chocolate on it saying they improved it. And these AI content is getting more and more suspicious of if they’re actually beloved by actual people, or just AI people themselves.

And again, AI isn’t the end of the world, and can be used for good. But using it in a creative space, in my opinion, isn’t a good use for it.
