About a week ago, figurine manufacturer Dodomo Studio announced their latest entry into the lewd figurine market with a highly popular character, Chainsaw Man’s very own Power. She must be pretty popular in the crafting world because I still remember a bunch of figurines that were made of her infamous “toilet pose” scene. Dodomo seems to want to continue that legacy of sexiness by releasing this upcoming product sometime in the third quarter of 2023. That being said, preorders are already underway though in my opinion through some very wacky vendors. I basically got a different price from each one, somewhere between $100-$300. As someone with no interest in models I have no idea if that’s a fair price or not, but here are some promotional pics for those who want to make their own judgment.

What I find more interesting here, is that this product may solve my main issue with lewd anime figures: that I can’t put those bitches out on display. I don’t want random ass company coming over and having to scramble around the room making sure I stuff all my degenerate weeb shit into the closet, then drag it back out when they leave. Supposedly this figure can be modified from completely nude to somewhat clothed depending on your choice. I wanted to get more specific details on the feature but that didn’t get very far, though I did notice two of the vendors claiming that’s how the product could be altered so I’m trusting them that it does come with the pieces to modify it and isn’t two separate versions. Assuming that’s the case, I would actually consider purchasing a model one day of an anime waifu I really loved if you could go from 100% fully clothed to 100% nude relatively easily and without spending an arm and a leg on it. That way I could just keep it clothed for the vast majority of the time and only strip it down if I want to be extra lewd or show off what it can do to a fellow weeb friend. For what these items typically cost, I want to have it on display and appreciate the outfit 90% of the time, baby. 

While theoretically this model does offer some customization, it’s still way too lewd even with the clothes on for me to ever consider buying it. Plus I think I need to keep my wallet safe and secure until I see every waifu that Chainsaw Man has to offer, because the word on the street is more are on the way in the upcoming seasons.
