Wait, Weebs Still Don't Shower?
It’s been a bit of a meme for years now that anime fans and fans of anime adjacent hobbies don’t know how the hell to take a shower. Well, at least I thought it was a meme. I’ve been to a couple of conventions in my lifetime and while I was surrounded by fellow weebs, I don’t remember any pungent smells drifting their way into my nostrils. I was more put off by the clearly ...

Is Liking Loli's Going Too Far??!!
Even if I’m not into loli stuff, as a person who works at Doujins.com and hell, someone who works with porn, I can’t escape seeing it. Luckily, it doesn’t offend me, or hurt my eyes to see it. It might not be my kink or something I’m particularly into, but that’s with a lot of things in life. But other people, who can’t separate fiction from reality, they’d damn someone ...

Now keep in mind I didn’t even know the name ...

Anime Industry Veterans Fight For Better Conditions
It’s no secret that animators and artists continue to struggle to get proper compensation in Japan. There’s a reason everyone calls employees at MAPPA slaves. This has resulted in a bit of a brain drain as talented creatives are swayed by that sweet sweet Chinese money. Ever noticed how many Chinese games have fantastic anime-style art nowadays? That’s no coincidence. On the ...

Would You Cut Your Finger?
This thought came to mind while watching The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2. The students needed to complete a magic ritual, and to do that, they had to give some of their blood. Now, if you’ve watched anime with magic in them or even special powers, you may have seen something like this before. The most noticeable thing that comes to mind is the summoning jutsu from Naruto. They ...
