Just like with Sparking Zero, once the honey mood phase ended, many people fell off of BLEACH Rebirth of Souls. I was hyped for it at first, but as I kept looking at gameplay, it looked like any other arena fighter, and I was right. I would have loved something more similar to Soulcalibur, but that’s just me. The game is still trucking, with releasing DLC characters. I’m not sure how many people really cared about the inclusion of another Ichigo, but the reveal of Unohana at least piqued my interest.



Unohana was always a sexy side character, and once her alter ego was revealed, she became more interesting and HOT as a character. And it’s cool that they even added Isane to her intro, cause we already know Isane wasn’t going to be a playable character. They’ll save that slot for other fan favorites, maybe someone from the Fullbringer arc, since we still don’t have someone from there.



It kind of sucks that Unohana bankai is censored, and looks like ink instead of blood, but we can’t have everything. This is def not going to convince me to buy the game, but I’m happy that fans and enjoyers of the game are still getting cool content. I’ll still keep my finger crossed that ArcSys one day makes an actual Bleach fighting game, cause I would love to play Unohana in something like that.
