It’s kind of crazy seeing how far anime has come. Fortnite, G FUEL, and hell, even PUBG, have done a collab with an anime series at this point. It’s super cool, and if you’re into those games, it just gets you excited and wanting to get whatever collab costumes or items they’re promoting. Today, they’ve targeting a game that I’m currently playing, Overwatch, and they decided to come in with a One-Punch Man collab.



It’s not like I’m a super fan of One-Punch Man. I like the series, but it’s not like I’m going to go crazy over the One-Punch Man cast like they’re my favorite of all time. The fact that Overwatch did anime collaboration is enough for me. Hell, they could have done a collab with Evangelion and I would have been hyped (I actually like that series tho).

What makes this collaboration super cool to me is that it opens up the possibilities for even more anime collabs in the future. I feel like this is a good start. I also like how they tried to stay canon, and even kind of gave the characters the charm of not completely making them the character, with Doomfist pretty much still being black while just rocking Satima’s costume. I also like Kiroko and Solider’s costumes. I’m just a little disappointed in Genji’s. Yeah I get it, he's a cyborg like Genos, but I think a Speed-o-Sound Sonic Genji would have been cooler.

Apex Legend already did it.

So here’s hoping we get another anime collab in Overwatch again soon. Fortnite has like, three anime collabs so far, and now there’s rumors of an Attack on Titan one. Come Overwatch, get on Fortnite’s level.
