Dead or Alive never fails to amaze with its sights and sounds. Interesting characters beating the tar out of each other. Kasumi appearing in petals and proceeding to tear apart her foes is always great. Because Kasumi is beat girl. Fight me.

However, things have taken a turn for the strange. Why just look at and listen to Kasumi, when you can now smell her too?

This is a thing that exists now. VR Sense is a special VR cabinet available to play at various arcades, and it equips the user with a VR headset and the ability to 'smell' things in the game itself, with Dead or Alive being one of the games that players can try out. If you get close to a girl, you can 'smell' them. For smellophiles, your time has come. 

Players get into this thing and play the game itself. If the player character gets wet, the player is hit with a mist to simulate what happens in the game world. That's actually pretty interesting. VR immerses players in their game worlds, and this is the next step. Now...smell-o-vision. Maybe we should have seen it coming? We here at Doujins don't judge people for their fetishes. What was created by Hans Laube and only seen in the 1960 movie Scent of Mystery has now appeared in a VR device so players can smell DOA girls. Neat.
