A Deep Dive into Yaoi with Kinkymation

Kasaix: Fellows of Doujins, welcome to another insightful look at a topic most fascinating. This time, we look at the phenomenon known as 'yaoi'. Here with us is my esteemed colleague Kinkymation. Kinkymation: It brings back memories of high school and first getting into anime doesn't it?

Kasaix: Not as many dicks around when I first got into anime, though Pokemon and Digimon are standard yaoi bait. Tons of dicks in high school though, but that's just how high school is. Dicks left and right.

Kinkymation: Hormones do that to ya at that age, but I can tell you as a girl there have always been many dicks around

Kasaix: Yes indeed. Now onto yaoi, or BL, as in boys love. It seems it first started way back in the 70's and 80's by shoujo writers, primarily female. Which makes sense, guys fantasize about women getting it on, so the opposite must be true. Is this a truth, Lady Kinkymation?

Kinkymation: Absolutely! It's the million dollar question, but ladies find it attractive as hell. Reading, watching, writing or drawing what's called BL is a thing I think a lot of girls have done

Kasaix: Fascinating. Truly fascinating. Yaoi is indeed highly popular with women. Because dicks. Mangaka such as Youka Nitta and Maki Murakami made a name with yaoi, the latter of whom makes yaoi parodies of her own highly popular series Gravitation. But...is it parody if the mangaka herself writes and draws it? Or is it an AU canon?

Kinkymation: I gotta say if the author makes a parody it's canon 100%

Kasaix: Indeed, indeed. So Shuichi taking it in the ass from Eiri definitely happened. Again, because dicks.

Kinkymation: The author willed it so

Kasaix: Going back to South Park, Princess Kenny. Are traps inherently gay?

Kinkymation: Hmmmm Imma have to say no really, and Princess Kenny aint a trap she's a GODDESS

Kasaix: Truly. Now, yaoi is quite the popular tag on our site Doujins. Though it seems a popular trend is "tomgirl", i.e. trap. Now, on a scale of one to ten, how gay is it if one or both of the boys are feminine in appearance and persona? It's damn near futa levels.
