Some sad news dropped about 2XKO recently, where the team behind the game, had to reduce their staff size, for a more stable future.

This has been a really sad state for gaming, with each month seemingly another studio is hitting on hard times, either needing to fire some employees or go even further and shutting the whole studio down. But this seemingly bad news, surprisingly came with some good news.

That’s right, with 2XKO’s next update, they’ll be giving us two new characters. Senna and the long awaited Akali!! Hopefully you have your wallets ready.

It’s cool to see that 2XKO is dropping two new characters with their next update, and I like the variety. Two different characters, with two different playstyle. Also adding a generally newer character, with a fan favorite. But now, with the reveal of these two characters, Senna is getting a better reception and welcome to the roster over Akali, which is strange. But, people aren’t really happy with Akali’s 2XKO design, and would rather have her more faithful OG design.

I think the new design is pretty good in its own right, but I do like how the OG design looks with the 2XKO graphics and art style. But, either way, I’m happy the game isn’t dead yet, and is still kicking. Can’t wait to see how these two characters mix up the online space. And see how Akali plays on April 7th.
