One Punch-Man Season 3 has been getting a bad rep this season. With animation problems, and sloppy artwork, people have really been on the show's ass. And def after the studio change from Madhouse, to J.C. Staff, they already had a huge expectation to satisfy. It was a really hard mountain to climb, but all I ask of them is to do Mizuki right. I always thought she looked cool in the manga, and was so excited to finally see her in anime form. So they have to at least do her right, RIGHT?!
Nope, they also drop the ball on that. She has all her color, and her design stays mostly true. But I just don’t understand what made them change their shorts. Those shorts are what Olympic women wear when doing pole vaults, so it’s weird to censor them like they were being sexual or something.
US does it right.
Like the design isn’t completely ruined because of this, but it’s a decision I keep scratching my head about and trying to understand why it was even a thing. Hell, it’s not like they didn’t already show her in her original shorts, so why the sudden change.
Maybe the moms in Japan didn’t want her little Hitoshi to be seeing a fit woman, sexy thighs too bare. Either way, I’m just hoping with Mizuki finally showing up in the anime, we can get all the doujin artists working on One Punch-Man doujins, and righting the wrong that the animators gave us.
