The Patreon Alternative for Adult Creators?
By ImJustThatKinky • 5 years ago

Well, Patreon hasn’t been doing so well in the NSFW department. Many of our beloved creators such as JLullaby and Studio FOW has been attacked by Patreon rules and now suffer because of it. With this being an ongoing problem, other competitors are coming out of the wood works and throwing their hats into the ring, and our first challenger goes by the name Sponsorion. Here are a few words from them:

Sponsorion will be a platform for fans to directly fund creators through a tiered, subscription-based pledge system.

What sets us apart from the others is that we will be the first crowdfunding platform built from the ground up to welcome all creators without the field discrimination plaguing the mainstream financial industry.

Now this would be a wonderful thing if the people at Sponsorion got big and became another donating or crowd funding website such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and Patreon, but we’re here to talk about adult content. So since their model closely resembles Patreon's, let’s see how their adult content fair against one another.

Well firstly, both Patreon and Sponsorion don’t allow real life porn, but luckily for us, we’re not interested in 3D girls, we want to know about the hentai. Patreon has a strict no incest, necrophilia, bestiality, loli, and anything that is seemingly non-consual a.k.a rape (which are like some of the best stuff). I’m sad to say that for all you loli/shota lovers out their, Sponsorion aren’t allowing content of that nature, but they have no problem accepting stuff like vore, incest, etc. The problem is, pretty words are all fine and dandy, but once everything is actually put in place, will they stick to their guns. We seen companies turn their backs on NSFW creators before, let’s just hope that Sponsorion won’t do the same.

You can keep up with them by follow their website and Tumblr page.
