The First Robot Waifu: Hatsune Miku

Robot girls are coming a lot sooner than we thought. A university student spent the past decade working on building a robotic Hatsune Miku, having made two other models previously, and showcased his grand achievement at the Robodex event in Shinjuku. Boasting advanced motional motion-capture technology, with 50 servo motors, to allow Miku to move her head and hands, as well as each individual finger. This, my friends, is just the beginning of robotic anime waifus. 

 

His goal is apparently just that, and the world needs to thank him for it. His crowdfunding efforts have garnered ¥3.6 million, which amounts to around $33,876. His next goal is to make a fully walking and singing model. Let's hope he reaches this goal.
