Studio Trigger aren’t new when it come to crowdfunding, see Little Witch Academia for example. So with Studio Trigger announcing the launch of their own Patreon, it gives fans the ability to support their lovely anime creators directly.

Many people in the anime fandom complain that there is no right way to support the anime studios if you live in the west. People believe that buying Blu-rays, merchandise, or subscribing to a streaming services, is less giving to the anime studios and more supporting the people giving you said product, so now with a Patreon that worry is no more. Here is why Tigger made this decision:

We’re a studio that strives for a global audience and values communications with our fans. If you've been in a creative business, I bet we can all relate that a simple feedback is all it takes to make our day great. However, there’s no denying at times we wished we had an extra buck or two. There’s been one too many incidents where we had to give up a merchandise idea because it was unprofitable, or simply due to lack of funding. That’s where you and Patreon comes in! With your support, we would like to forward funds into various aspect of the studio. Possibly a new line of merchandise, attending/conducting more events, or simply providing a little more to our staff.

They only have two tiers which are $1 TRIGGER supporter tier or the $5 TRIGGER HAPPY tier. They reached their 1,500 stretch goal and will now be streaming live drawing session from time to time. If you want to help and support Studio Trigger hit up their PATREON!
