I’m always going to hate AI, and this gives me another reason to hate it. Sora 2 has just come out recently, and just as fast died out. It was making a lot of rounds and was pretty much terrorizing everyone and everything. Even our beloved anime was affected.



You could find different videos from weirdly looking AI anime fight scenes, and scary enough, AI generated videos of Micheal Jackson and other dead celebrities. Which honestly feels like it’s disrespecting them in many ways.

But the straw that broke the camel back seemingly looks like when people were making full on episodes of South Park.

And some of you guys might be saying the same talking points that AI bros always use. “But we still have to write prompts, which are really hard and complicated.” Yeah, and those prompts are also useless unless it has something to steal from. AI can’t just make something out of thin air. It needs something to use as a reference and steal from, so AI is useless, unless we humans keep creating things. AI when used in this way, just produces slop and loses its creative touch to everything. With this South Park situation and everything else that’s come up, Sora 2 has now gutted itself, and restricted many of the prompts and assets that people were able to use when it first released. I felt like the creators knew the issues this would bring, but wanted to release it with its maximum potential to get people going crazy with it, and ramping up its popularity. I know that they already got people to download it, and hooked. Even though it’s a lesser version before, the people are already hook line and sinkers. Except me, I didn’t download that garbage….but I’ll be honest, I was close to…
