That’s right, the show that many people were glazing in the beginning of the winter season is pretty mid. It’s not a bad show by any means, but with how many people were hyping it up, and comparing it to Mushoku Tensei, I expected a lot more from this show. But all I got was something that was pretty…okay.



And don’t get me wrong, it was hella pretty. The animators really put their best foot forward like this show was going to be the next Attack on Titan. But for me, all this anime was was another fantasy show, with an interesting premise, but lacking an overall drive to keep me interested. But sadly, the last episode ending made me want to check out season 2 honestly.

Like I mentioned, the anime premise is interesting. People being forced to become heroes, and protect people as a punishment. With the risk of them dying and coming back to life, but losing some of their memories, is hella interesting. But with the cast of characters that I sadly don’t have the strongest attachment with, it kind of doesn’t motivate me to keep following the story and the characters journey. And the villains aren’t the most interesting in my opinion at this point as well. 

I’m also super surprised that this anime is getting a game?!



Maybe not the biggest budget game, but a game none the less. So, all that to say, I'm pretty sure I’m not going to check out season 2. I’m happy for anyone who’s excited to get more Sentenced to Be a Hero, but I’m not one of them. Not even the goddess Teoritta’s cute, small breasts, can convince me to keep watching.
