Rule 34 just added an amazing feature that I feel like a lot of people will appreciate. That’s right, you can now separate AI art from real art, with just a click of a button.
The reason this is such a good feature is because sometimes for these articles, I’m looking for good cover images, or artists that I can talk about and promote. But it’s kind of shit to try to look for an artist and all I find are copycats trying to bank off of someone else's art style. It’s sad to see how acceptable it is to use AI in that way. Like, ThiccwithaQ is an artist that’s been around for years and has been perfecting their craft for a while now. And over the years, ThiccwithaQ has accumulated over 2k+ things on Rule 34. You want to know how much people making AI ThiccwithaQ art has created over just a few months? OVER 10k+!!!
People saying that this AI thing isn’t going to be a problem is crazy. And sadly, most people won’t even try to understand it until it comes and fuck over their lively hoods. The cool thing about talent is that everyone has it, but they have to work to achieve it and show it off. And after all the hard work, you’re able to benefit from it. But now, if people can achieve the same thing as anyone else with just a few sentences, then what would be the point of even trying. No reason to try to write a Batman comic, when Bill, who hasn’t even finished middle school, can type in a sentence based on my Batman creation and pretty much get the same thing. Why the fuck would anyone try? But, atleast more people are against this and enjoy the change.
The more and more AI is becoming a real thing, and something that’s creeping up everywhere. Who knows how law and other things will protect people's rights and products, but we’ll have to see.
Do you like this new AI filter on Rule 34? Do you think AI will become a bigger issue? Has AI affected anything in your life so far? Tell us in the comments.
