Netojuu no Susume Ends Run Due to Creator's Declining Health
By Kasaix • 5 years ago

Here at Doujins, we like to keep it light-hearted. We want to put a smile on your face, a spring in your step, and so on. However, something came to light recently that needed some attention. Rin Kokuyō, the creator of Netojuu no Susume, or Recovery of an MMO Junkie, isn't doing too well. The series has been on hiatus since 2015, but saw an anime series in that time to tide fans over in 2017. However, due to Kokuyo's declining health, the series is officially ended. Details are scarce concerning what exactly is wrong with the creator, but we here at Doujins hope for the best.

The series itself is really quite interesting, and most certainly deserves some attention. The story follows Moriko Morioka, a 30-year old successful corporate employee. Due to the stress of her job, we quits and escapes reality in an MMO game. There, she creates an attractive male avatar. She soon meets up with someone who teaches her/him how to play the game. This new friend might be closer to life than she realizes...
