When I was little, I had cartoon crushes. I loved Mandy from Billy and Mandy, Vicky from Fairly OddParents, and an alien orc girl from the Jimmy Neutron movie. But all these crutches were innocent...or at least, I think they were. But once I started watching Adult Swim, and found out about anime. My cartoon crushes started to get horny, and that first appeared while watching FLCL, or Fooly Cooly.

Yeah, that was a weird time back then.

Fooly Cooly was one of those shows I felt dirty for watching, even though it looked like a cartoon, it acted like a show for adults. Every night I was excited to see another episode of the forbidden FLCL, and Mamimi and Haruko were the main reason for me coming back.

These were the OG waifus. 

While watching this show at a young age, I felt like Naoto. While the girls teased him, the anime teased me. Talking dirty here, being dirty there, the show really does poke at every young boy’s horny bone. It was a relatable show, for a young middle schooler. It was a show that targeted young, sneaky, boys like me. And the one thing that I will always remember that made me extra horny about the show, is this one fast cut of a naked Haruko that shows up in the ending theme.

This was back when we only had a TV and I couldn’t pause. This one naked shot always haunted me, and I always wanted to see the full thing.
