I thought Marvel Rivals have been knocking it out of the park with the costumes they’ve been releasing recently. I mix of comics, movies, and original costumes. As someone who’s not big into the Marvel movies or comics, I can’t have the same appreciation as others, but if a costume is cool, a costume is cool in my eyes. So I’m fine with whatever new costume they add, no matter if it’s from the comics or not. But I guess I might be a minority when it comes to that opinion, or maybe not a part of the loud few.

Now you might find it funny to hear, but NetEase is a Chinese game company, which might explain why they have so many Asian inspired costumes. Actually, it’s not even that many. They already have a lot of comic and movie inspired costumes, it's just these people going around complaining about nothing. And some of the costumes they’re calling Chinese are actually inspired by Japanese wear. So that’s also an issue.

And then you have people wanting more Scarlet Witch costumes, and then complaining when they get them saying that they all look the same. Which, design wise, I’d argue they don’t, but they are all red. But that’s because, you know, she’s SCARLET WITCH!!! And it’s not like the comics did any better.

Another show of people not being happy with anything, and finding issues in something so small or non-existing. Marvel Rivals is doing most things right, and people are just trying to find something to be mad about. Marvel Rivals is made by a Chinese company, so if they want to keep dropping amazing Chinese skins, I’m all for it. And if you hate those skins, just be happy that means you’ll be able to save your money for another month.
