I’m actually excited to see the second season of the One Piece Netflix adaptation. It’s considered one of the better anime live action adaptations. Def when talking about an American company being behind the production of it. But, with the new One Piece Netflix live action trailers, people aren’t having the warmest welcome for the latest crew member.



That’s right, straight Hat member Chopper has finally gotten a look. And I honestly don't think it’s that bad. Hell, to be honest, I don’t think it’s bad at all. People are divided when it comes to the chopper design. While some think it fits, while others are calling it ugly. But, at least we all can say it’s not as bad as the original Sonic movie design.

I’m not sure what some of these people thought we were going to get. Not sure if they thought it was going to look like Disney 3D like how Mario looks in the Mario movie, or maybe they wanted more of a Space Jam vibe. Either way, I do think this Chopper design is the best we’re going to get, and pretty much the best they could have done with it being a live action, that’s going for a more realistic look for the creature characters. All in all, I have a huge win in my book, and I’m excited to see Chopper, and ROBIN, in full display in 2026.
