Ko-fi Hates Adult Content
By ImJustThatKinky • 5 years ago

Adult content creators keep getting backlashfucked in the ass by so many different companies nowadays, and it’s starting to get a little scary. Adult works such as hentai games and artworks have been finding success on things like Steam and Patreon, but not with their own set of scary problems and confusing rules. Now, donation website Ko-fi, has finally step into the ring to fuck over adult content creators also by suspending them and placing strict policies.

Strictly Prohibited Adult Content

Ko-fi cannot be used as the venue for sexually explicit or Adult themed content this includes, but is not limited to;

- Pornography, nudity, depictions of rape, incest, bestiality and any

other adult or obscene content including implied, suggested or censored

in any form such as;

- literature

- imagery (including illustrative)

- videos

- links to external sites or content containing such material

- Sexual services such as prostitution, escorts, pay-per view, adult live chat features

These changes were put in place because of the payment providers that are attached to Ko-fi, such as Paypal and Stripe, who have their own set of rules when it come to adult material. It’s sad to see that many people and companies are still ashamed to have something sexual associated with them. Sex is a natural thing for us humans, it shouldn’t be this big of a problem. We just have to hope that this doesn’t continue to be an ongoing thing with companies such as Patreon, Ko-fi, and Steam, and hope that they start seeing the value in adult content.

Have you ever donated to Ko-fi? Do you think this trend on banning adult content will continue? Do you think adult content deserve the bad rap that it gets? Tell us in the comments below.
