Is This the End for Super Smash Bros.?
By ImJustThatKinky • 5 years ago

Has Smash finally reached its limits? Is this the final installment of Smash? With the latest Nintendo Direct showing off so much weirdness and jaw dropping reveals, is this the end for Super Smash Bros.?

With the announcement of the new story mode, World Of Light, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is trying to out do it’s old entries and any other Smash entries to come. It’s still not clear if this is going to be a bigger story mode than Subspace Emissary or even have the cut scenes that Subspace Emissary had, since the leaking of the cut scenes is the whole reason why Nintendo said they’d never do a story mode ever again.

Another reason why this could be the end is because of DLC. Back in the day a new Smash had to be made base on the fact that a new game meant new characters. Now with DLC, new characters can keep being added to the game while never actually creating a sequel.

And after some bullshit like this, they better give us some more characters!

Will this finally be the time people stop saying that Melee is the best Smash and move over to Ultimate...probably not, but we could always hope.

Are you getting Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? Do you think Ultimate will be better than Melee? Is this the last Super Smash Bros.? Tell us in the comments below.
