Is Kirara Trans?

The great Jujutsu Kaisen debate, on if Kirara is a gou, or trans. Let’s dive right in.

Now understandably, it makes sense why someone would go with the idea that the character is male. One, because when it comes to anime, trap characters are more prominent. It’s a standard in anime. And two, in the last episode, Panda did refer to Kirara as a boy.

Now, the reason to think Kirara is trans. One, the way Gege drew Kirara visibly shows off that she might have breasts.

Two, after the Panda scene. Every scene after refers to Kirara as they or she.

And three, in the manga, Hakari, someone who has a very close, and intimate relationship with Kirara, specifically mentions how he’s not into guys. Which would make you think that he views Kirara as female.

So, based on the information presented before you, I guess you can all come to your own conclusion. It’s never specifically stated whether Kirara is male or female, we all can only speculate. But from all the evidence that was presented to me, I’ll go with the idea that Kirara is trans. I honestly don’ care either way, that bussy would get smashed one way or another.
