Yeah, weird question I know, but I always just wonder to myself when it is that I actually want to die. When I was younger, the thought of death didn’t really scare me, more so the pain that might come with it. Death wasn’t really a fear for me until I started making genuine friendships, and my relationship with my mother got better. That’s when I actually started appreciating life, and death started to feel scary.

Friends are the best.
Now that I’ve found peace in my life and a reason to live, why am I still thinking about death? Why am I still thinking about how long I want to live? Well, that’s because even though I enjoy living now, I still want to die one day. I don’t want to die soon, but I don’t want to live to be 100 either. I want to live long enough to do the things I want, but not long enough where I’m going to need help for the rest of my life.

I feel like a good age range to pass away would be around 70-80. But, I guess there’s other factors, like how healthy my body is at the time. Like, if I’m in my 60's, and I need help cleaning my asshole, and taking baths, then off me right then and there. My main worry is becoming dependent on someone else as I get older. I don’t want to become a burden on anyone, so if that becomes a factor in my old age, that’s when I feel like it’s time to pull the plug.
Maybe not the happiest article to write, but it’s something to think about as we get older in life. Enjoy the life you got, and don’t take it for granted. Cause you never know when some freak accident might happen making it hard for you to take care of yourself.
