Hollywood's Monster Hunter Movie Starting Production This September
By ImJustThatKinky • 5 years ago

With video game and anime movies being really never a hit and always a miss, Hollywood hasn’t given up on making them. And with The Hollywood Monster Hunter movie production starting this September, will we finally have a good video game movie.

The team behind this are Director Paul W.S. Anderson and actress Milla Jovocich who have worked on another Capcom video game movie property, Resident Evil, with the added bonus of producer Jeremy Bolt. This will be their and Constantin Film’s take on the series. The move will be having a budget of around $60,00 million.

If you’ve ever played Monster Hunter you’ll know that the biggest eye catching stuff about it are the food, armor, weapons, and monsters. With all that in mind, you can expect a lot of CG and special effects. My biggest worry is that they'll cut corners and make it less extravagant then the game, so much so that the final product won't even look like Monster Hunter, instead it'll feel like a Jurassic Park rip off. But, we’ll see once we get a teaser.

I hope we at least get to see our girl The Handler. That could save the movie for me.
