Normally when we cover cosplay stuff on Doujins, it's either awesome guys or sexy girls. However, that's changing right now. Hideaki Ohmura is the current Governor of Aichi Prefecture, which is a big deal. He was a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet in 1996, until he lost in 2009. I could go on, but you get the idea: he's a seasoned politician. When I discovered that the man also loved anime, and even cosplayed as Kirito from Sword Art Online, I knew I had to share this bit of information. How awesome would it be if politicians could let their otaku flag fly and cosplay at conventions? Let's take a look at my new favorite politician:

He dressed up like SAO's resident edgelord who ignores the harem flags for the World Cosplay Summit, something I just learned about right now. The World Cosplay Summit is an annual event in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture's capital city, and his home turf. Apparently this isn't his first time cosplaying and letting his otaku flag fly.
