I still can’t believe that in the year 2019, we’re still receiving bad English dubs for hentais. We have audio doujins on the site and the girls for those do a better job than most English dubbed hentais. I thought it was a time thing at first. The English dubs are bad because people didn’t understand how to dub hentai. But now, listening to Hentai Heavens latest release, Invasion of the Ball Busters, I feel like it’s just a matter of not caring.

When I heard that Invasion of the Ball Busters was getting an English dub, I was pretty excited. But when I finally heard the English dub, my excitement was thrown out the window. A lot of the female voice acting felt so dead, with no emotion behind them or too much emotion behind them. The guys delivered their lines better than most of the females. It doesn’t make it any better that the script lines were cringy. The only scene I enjoy was the blowjob scene which was 4 minutes out of the 20, so not really worth the time.

Only 16 more minutes of cringe to go.

Now on the other hand, Vampire Vixen is different. Vampire Vixen delivers an actual enjoyable English dub. The voice for the main female girl was great. She fit the character while also displaying her acting skills and different range of voices. And the male lead was no slack either. He had the voice and comedic delivery that gave his acting that Funimation male lead character flair. The script was also better this time around. In all honesty, this one might just be a funny thing to watch with a group of friends.

But, English dub hentai aren’t dead yet. SilkyMilk, a lewd voice actor who you might know from her roles as Jean from FandelTales and Talia from Future Fragments, made a tweet about being picked for the lead role of a hentai. SilkyMilk has done some great work when it comes to lewd voice acting, so here’s hoping she up the standards for hentai English dubs.
