Gambit is the newest hero to join the Marvel Rivals roster, and he’s a strategist. Many were certain that he was going to be a DPS, even me. But I was so happy to see that he was a healer. I’m just upset cause now all those non healers are about to insta lock him, like they’ve been struggling in the healer gulags like me.

And I love his Rivals design, with the card tattoos on his arm and everything. He's going to be my favorite healer, if not my favorite character in the game. I've been in love with Gambit ever since I saw him in Marvel vs Capcom, yeah, not from the actual X-Men series, crazy. He’s one of the more complex characters in the game, so he could fall off people's radar pretty early, but that never stopped people from throwing games before.

But all in all, a really good addition to the roster, and a surprise role switch up. With this, I’m pretty sure the next character, Rogue, is going to be a DPS. And luckily, she’s keeping the trend of female characters in this game having fat asses. Gambit looks like he’s going to have some competition for sexiest character mid season.
