Love Lab have released their first licensed VN in the west in the form of White Powder's Lamunation, a quirky comedy VN with more memes, lewds and chill vibes than you can shake a stick at. 

What's it about, you ask? I'd tell you, but it'll probably be better to hear it from the publishers themselves:

Now, this is a story all about how
Luna's life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
So listen to the story
I'll tell you how he helped his friends save an old factory

In coastal Saint Aria, born and raised
With a rubber duckie's how he spends most of his days
Chillin' out, maxin', gettin' all snoozy
And skipping out of class so he can stay in his jacuzzi
When a couple of girls who were heading to class
Skydived to his yard and dragged his lazy ass
Shoved him into car-- At least it wasn't a van--
And said 'It's time to go to the Academy of Hope Island'

That should give you an idea of the amount of effort the localisation team put into memes. The humour is just light enough that it doesn't get bogged down with endless grating pop culture references like some other games *cough*Borderlands*cough*, while the crisp art style is complimented by the memorable electronic soundtrack. If you're expecting a strong narrative then you're better off somewhere else; Lamunation's story is more of a vehicle for its random jokes than a serious plot, but that's not a complaint.

The girls themselves are pretty cute as well. Protagonist Luna's twin sister Corona, childhood friend Lamune and twins Iris & Rayla all have their times to shine. The game is mostly PG without the patch, however even with it there's still a smidgen of censorship. It kinda feels like there's a lot more to this game than just the sex, so if all you want is straight-to-the-point hardcore hentai then this might not be for you.

But if you want a fun slice of life VN that doesn't take itself seriously at all yet still has some good (albeit mosaic'd) sex scenes, Lamunation should be right up your alley.
