Do You Need to Know the Story to Enjoy the Sex Scenes?

I’m a busy man, so when it comes to me playing an adult visual novel, I usually go around searching for a 100% save so I can have all the h scenes unlocked. It’s not like I’m missing anything since most adult visual novel plots aren’t the most thought provoking or original. Also, it’s a visual novel, which means that I’ll most likely have to invest a good amount of my time into reading through the damn thing, just so I can grab me a few sex scenes. The recent game that I did this with is Miss Leet in Prison, a story of a man’s revenge against the female leader of an evil syndicate.

I downloaded Miss Leet in Prison because the premise was something that I am totally into. A strong and evil female who gets mind broken through the power of sex. A truly A+ premise. So I downloaded the game, grabbed all my scenes, and it was time for me to go to town. But as I was about to watch the first sex scene, I thought to myself, “Why does the main character hate this women?” “How was she acting before this scene?” “How did we even get to this point?” With me asking myself all these questions, it beg the questions, “Would this h scene be better if I had read through the story?”

One minute I'm in the middle of a menu screen, and now I'm in the middle of a gangbang. How the hell did we get to this point?!

Build up is everything in normal stories and hentai stories, it help you stay in gauge on what’s going on while getting you excited for what's going to happen later on. It’s easier to do this with doujins and hentai, than a visual novel. Doujins usual take maybe 4 to 7 pages to get to the action and hentai know a days are just 15 minutes long. But even then sometimes I can find myself skimming through the dialogue or just skipping the build up all together. So with a visual novel that can take you 30 to an hour before you get to one h scene, that’s a completely different beast. Not many people are going to sit and read through 30 minutes of story just for one sex scene. It’s always good to have a story even if it an adult game that most people are only playing for the sex, but don’t be surprised if none of those people pay your story any mind.

I think the main character hates Miss Leet is because she force this woman who's...someone special to the main character. I don't really know I skipped through all that stuff.
