DC Deny Batman Oral Sex Scene Because "Heroes Don't do That"
By Yung Namahage • 2 years ago

Everyone knows Batman's number one rule; the philosophy that's been synonymous with the character for decades and frequently plays a part in his moral conflicts: no killing. But that's not his only rule, as DC recently revealed there's another thing the Caped Crusader will never do: oral sex.

The Harley Quinn animated series does an amazing job of balancing DC's wide universe of characters with a good helping of raucous adult comedy and some surprisingly mature subplots, all topped off with an appropriately chaotic performance by Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco in the titular role. Needless to say, that show's clearly not intended for kids.

In an interview with Variety, the show's co-creator and executive producer Justin Halpern talked about how writing a cast full of supervillains gives them a lot more leeway compared to writing superheroes. While DC has allowed them to push the envelope in some respects, there's one scene that didn't make it into the upcoming third season of Harley Quinn.

"...we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman. And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ So, we said, ‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?’ They were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’”"

What's strange is Bruce and Selina were already confirmed to be fuckin' in this universe and in Season 2 Batman gets into a particularly wonderful group sex scene, so drawing the line at giving head in an adult show seems a little arbitrary. Besides, eating Catwoman's pussy is way more in character for Batman than the sex scene with Batgirl DC approved in the Killing Joke animated movie, and that whole "MAKE NO MISTAKE I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU" Knightmare bullshit in the Snyder Cut.

Since DC won't let the people see Batman lapping up Catwoman't juices, artists of the internet have once again taken it upon themselves to give the people what they want.

What do you guys think? Have you seen Harley Quinn? Should DC let Batman go down on Catwoman? Let us know in the comments!
