I feel like it’s safe to say that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is in my top 10 anime list. It was just such a different style of anime, with such a heartbreaking and memorable ending. It’s honestly hard for anything to compete after that in the Edgerunners universe. But, the studio around that ground breaking anime is trying to produce another unforgetting banger. Will they succeed? I guess we’ll see.



The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 trailer has finally dropped, and it’s looking really cool. I’ll just straight up say it right now. I think this sequel is going to be good, there’s no doubt in my mind about that. I’m just hesitant to say that it’s going to be as good, or even BETTER than the OG Edgerunners. Many amazing creators like the creative mind behind Cowboy Bebop, tried to relive their glory days with things like Space Dandy or Lazarus, but they’re never able to recreate that magic.

So I think this sequel is already looking like it’s going to be great, and another rollercoaster of an amazing ride. But being the world flipping masterpiece that the first one was, I heavily doubt it.
