Not sure how many of you guys checked out this show since it had huge gay undertones, but The Summer Hikaru Died was a banger of a show, and I’m excited to see that it’s getting a season 2.

With a season 2 announcement, I’m sure that means we’ll be seeing the complete end of this series. Cause we hate anime only ending here, and shows leaving on a huge cliff hanger, I’m looking at your Talentless Nana and Tomodachi Games. But the main thing I wanted to talk about in this article is if you’d be willing to be friends with someone who’s taking control over your friend's body.

Now this is a double edge sword kind of question for me, cause the monster does seem kind of hostile, and if I upset them, I might be next on their hit list. But the monster also seems confused, and just wants to live as a normal human. So this is the thing, I can try to be friends with the creature, but I have one major rule. The monster has to act like themselves. Hell, I wouldn’t even want to call them by my original friend’s name. I want them to be their own selves in my friend's body. They don’t need to try to mimic my friend. They can not replace my friend, they can only look like them. So if we can agree on that, then I feel like I can deal with it. I would rather them not do this all together, but how can I say no to some crazy monster.

So not an ideal scenario, but monsters can be scary. Some people might be okay with faking it till they make it, but I do have some limits. I’ll make sure they stay happy and don’t go crazy, but don’t go around acting like you’re my friend. Hell, let’s just tell everyone you hit your head and lost your memories, so the sudden change in personality won’t seem so jarring.
