China Have Put a Bounty on Internet Porn
By Yung Namahage • 5 years ago

First Russia tried taking down this very site. Then Tumblr began to purge its site of NSFW blogs and posts. Now, the shining bastion of internet freedom known as the People's Republic of China have initiated an effort to cleanse the web of harmless fap material.

A government branch known as the Cyberspace Administration of China, who are responisble for all of the country's infamous web restrictions, have claimed to have taken down almost 10,000 accounts across several social media sites that have been found guilty of uploading and sharing porn. This doesn't just stop at live action porn, but hentai and doujins aren't safe either.

Not only that, but they're also offering a reward of at least ¥600,0000 (around $86,000) to anyone who reports forbidden content sites. Of course, complaints about this NSFW purge are also illegal, as complaining about the government or its actions is tantamount to treason in China.

If we have any readers in China, then let me say: it's been nice knowing you.
