Cheongsam vs Kimono: A Fashionable Debate
By Kasaix • 6 years ago

Few kinks (don't show up) are widely shared by our community. Two of those are the Cheongsam, or Chinese dress, and the kimono...., or Japanese dress. Both have great appeal. The Cheongsam is tight and form fitting, and can even have selective cuts or windows in the dress to show some skin, and the kimono can be slowly opened to worn off the shoulder for similar purposes. They're worn for more traditional purposes in their respective countries to stay true to their heritage.

The Chinese and Japanese famously have chilly relations, most of which date back to World War II. As we all know, that war was hell, and the wounds are still fresh. Neither country lost their ties to history, however, and that's on full display when people wear their cheongsam or kimono as part of everyday wear.

Today, we're going to compare two of the more famous outfits used for lewd purposes, the Cheongsam, also called the qipao, and in English called the Chinese dress, and the Kimono....translated into English, it means "thing to wear". Let us know what your preferred traditional garb is in the comments below.

Doujins.com has many great doujins where the best girl wears a kimono or cheongsam. Here are a couple of really good ones: Blacksmith by Tomotsuka Haruomi and Dress Select by Chiba Toshirou.

The staff at Doujins has weighed in:

"To that, I say, yes!" -Grassy
"To what? You like both or one of the two?" -Kasaix
"Yeah. I like both. If you held my feet to the fire, I say Chinese dress. That slit doe..." -Grassy
"I'm with you on this one. I like both, but the Chinese dress is just more tantalizing" -Kasaix
