The quickest answer is no, I don’t think Chun-Li can save the already bad state that City of the Wolves is in. It’s not like Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a bad fighting game, but with so many other fighting games having more appeal and an easier learning curve, City of the Wolves has been thrown to the waste side. But that doesn’t mean you can disrespect they’re interpretation of Chun-Li.



They did her model justice, and her playstyle was integrated in the game, without losing her flair, while staying true to the City of the Wolves mechanic. Without a doubt, Chun-Li is looking sexy and amazing in this game. And it’s super cool that for the Chun-Li and Mai intro, they’re doing the iconic pose that we always randomly see art floating around of.

So yeah, super sexy character, that was kind of introduced too late. I feel like City of the Wolves would have done better if Chun-Li and Ken were in the base roster, almost like how Akuma was for Tekken 7. The game would have done better, if only just a little bit. But instead we got a soccer player, and a DJ. But hey, hopefully Mr. Big will be the savior that City of the Wolves needed.
