Busty YouTuber Teaches Calligraphy with Style
By Yung Namahage • 3 years ago

Calligraphy is an artform you don't see too much of these days. There's a strong sense of culture, class and tradition associated with it that sets it apart from more contemporary logography, especially in the days of computers and keyboards. Japanese calligraphy, or shuji, is no exception; it's a tranquil experience where the soul guides the brush, each stroke leaving a deliberate black trail on white paper until the kanji is complete. I hear that watching calligraphy in practice is helpful to those wanting to learn the language, but even if you're not you may want to check these videos out.

The third entry in my "Talented and Buxom YouTubers" series is Mantenka Hime, a 23 year old Japanese calligraphy teacher who shows a lot more than just her brush skills. She's already gained over 5,000 subscribers in around two months of starting her channel and it's not hard to see why. Those masterful brushstrokes and graceful flourishes are a joy to watch, so long as you can take your eyes off those huge honkers.

Much like Pan Piano and Yuki Osaki, Mantenka Hime isn't averse to a bit of cosplay. Here she wears a Nezuko-esque kimono as she writes Kimetsu no Yaiba, AKA the Japanese title of Demon Slayer, in traditional form.

If you're thirsty for more hot calligraphy action you can check out her YouTube channel for more videos; on Instagram you can find more examples of her beautiful brushwork and on her Twitter she showcases a different kind of beauty.

So what do you guys think of the art of calligraphy? Does this make you want to pick up a brush, or something else? Let us know below!
