After watching three episodes of Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?, or it’s English title, Do You Even Lift Bro? ( actually English title is How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?) I can safely say that I’m ready to start exercising.
I’m not on the fat side, but I’m on the side of too skinny that I’m afraid that I’d get my ass kicked if I ever got into a fight, so I still feel like I need to exercise. The major problem I was having was being lazy and not keeping up with a daily routine. But Dumbbell is really helping me in that department.
After the credits at the end of every episode, they show to the viewers at home workouts that they can do, usually something that was performed in the episode. First episode was squats, which are cool, but I didn’t really try to do them. I’m a guy and not really looking for a better butt. But the second episode was all about planking and getting those abs up, which I’m totally down for. And the third episode talked about weight lifting and how to use everyday items to make makeshift dumbbells out of water jug and a paper bag filled with magazines.
This is def one of my favorite animes of this season right now, for it’s funny characters, hot girls, and general helpful knowledge. Oh, did I mention that the girls were hot? Their excellent motivation.
