Located in Taiwan's Kaohsiung City, Taiwan's largest port city, there is a restaurant that has a theme of "sex is funny". Diners are greeted by such things as inflatable sex toys and penis-shaped food. However, it's all in good fun. It's more funny than sexy, and that's the point. All the items filling the restaurant have to be funny or humorous. In times such as this, having a laugh at the thing that's both advertised and shamed in the same breath is desperately needed.

According to the manager Chen Yu-qi, as relayed to CNNgo, "Our founder spent a long time collecting the erotic objects in the restaurant. It's not easy to choose, as they have to be decorative and not repulsive." 

Perhaps it's a bite easier to strike that mark in Eastern cultures. Here in the West, sex automatically equals porn. We could learn so much from them. Especially this bit: sex dolls can join tables as a guest and lighten the mood. Some people might have dates with their sex dolls, but now it can be done in public and with a sense of whimsy. 

Needless to say, this is an 18 and up restaurant. Also needless to say, it needs to hit Western countries.
