Doujins brings you the ideal starting dating sim for those who have never played dating sims, or have only played a few dating sims. One of the most interesting and unique aspects offered by Cute Demon Crashers is that players are given an option to say 'no'. Anything can be halted at any given moment with no consequence for the player or player character. As the team behind this game, SugarScript, says to potential players: "This game is about consent and feeling safe in intimacy, so you can stop the sexytimes at different points, or keep going."

The game is summarized as such:

While university students are out enjoying themselves, Claire is stuck at home and having spring break blues.
After wishing for a fun fling, she suddenly finds herself in the company of four sex demons!
Three incubi and one succubus to be exact.

Maybe spring break won't be so boring after all…

One fine day, a portal opens in Claire, the protagonist's, home, and out come three incubi and one succubus. They looked to be about as confused as her. Here is where the first 'no' option comes into play. After the initial confusion, Claire can call the cops and the game ends right here. That's boring, of course, but the option is there.

Of course if you don't call the cops, the sex demons settle right in, and Claire can have her wish of a fun fling with one of the guests. You may have noticed the word 'succubus' right there. Yes, yuri is a choice here. The sex scenes, which can be censored by choice, are brief, but they do exist. This is a mutually-beneficial relationship to those involved, as the demons require love-making to live, and Claire the virgin can learn new tricks. Of course you can choose not to pursue any of them, and rebuff their advances. They won't make you feel bad about it at all.

Like any good dating sim, you can choose which room you'll want your character to spend time in during the day. This not only gains insight into the main character's life, but the lives of the demon crashers. Nothing too heavy or dramatic, the game as a whole is light and fluffy, and the dialogue is none too complicated. Unlike other dating sims, the goal isn't the bedroom, it's what leads up to the bedroom. Trust and intimacy are the goals, simulating a real relationship.

Like any real relationship, consent is the name of the game. As previously stated, players can stop the action at any time with no hard feelings. This is a rarity in games nowadays, and one of the appealing points for newcomers to dating sims. It's a light-hearted adventure in dating sex demons. Best of all, it's free to play and enjoy.
