Usually, every anime session has that one anime that everyone is hyping up. Manga readers swear up and down by it, and the anime is going to shine a new light on that series. Last season that was Solo Leveling and Delicious in Dungeon, and coming into the Spring season of anime, the series everyone is hyping up is Kaiju No. 8.



A series that I’m excited about, because of all the hype I’ve heard around it, but I still don’t completely know what’s so hype about it. I saw the PV and yeah, it looked cool and stuff, but I still can’t see anything that completely stands out about it. Is it just a good series, even though it sticks to the formula, or is it something that kind of breaks the mole like Attack on Titan. Because I saw some people injured in the trailer, but I’ll be honest, I don’t think anybody important is going to die in this series.

So I’ll take a peak and see what all the hype is about. I do think it’s going to be a good series if anything else, but I don’t think it’s going to be groundbreaking like Jujutsu Kaisen has been and how Frieren: Beyond Journey's End was last season. Hell, I know it’s not getting talked about crazy like other series, but Undead Unluck was a crazy surprise hit for me last season. If you haven’t watched it, go check it out!!!
